BEHIND THE LENS
I still remember developing my first photograph in the darkroom. It was magical --- and I was hooked. I also remember first travelling overseas. I was captivated by the cultures, the colors, the textures, and the landscape. I found my camera a magical way to communicate beyond language barriers. I was struck by stories that needed to be told and lives that had the power to be changed. It then became my passion and mission to integrate the two. I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from BIOLA University in 2008. Since then, I have been blessed to travel to 10 different countries (and counting!), live overseas, and grow as a person and a photographer. I am passsionate about capturing and sharing the stories of people around the world, bringing awareness, in hopes of healing and change. I also deeply love capturing and experiencing real life, real people, and hearing their unique stories. I welcome yours.
